Description

Filet Crocheted Chair Set and Pillow in Butterfly and Roses motif:  This filet crocheted chair set with its matching pillow is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The chair set may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs.   When completed the chair back will measure 14-1/2 x 17 inches, the arm rests 6 x 15 inches and the pillow 16 x 16 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.   The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 5913 in 1937. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook. 2 skeins of cotton are required for a chair set, a pillow top or 2 scarf ends.
