Filet Crocheted Chair Set: This filet crocheted chair set is to be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also directions describing how the charts are to be used.   Wen completed, the chair back will measure 13 x 16-1/2 inches and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches each.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2457 in 1949.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook. 2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
