Diagonal Eyelet Sweater : This pattern contains directions to knit the sweater shown. This is a lovely blouse, so perfect for casual wear. An attractive pattern stitch, paired up with a notch collar, buttoned neckband, short sleeves and an all-over diagonal eyelet pattern stitch. The pattern, vintage 1949, is size 12 to 18. The instructions are written for a size 12, with changes or 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials:   Beehive Moorland Sock and Sweater Yarn, Patonised Shrink-Resist Finish, l-oz. Skeins. 6 (6, 7, 7) skeins;   No.2 and No.4 knitting needles;  5 buttons.   (GAUGE: 7 ½ sts= 1"; 9 rows = 1")
