Easy Knitted Dog Coat Sweater Pattern

Dogs Bulky Sweater : This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, the sweater shown above. This sweater is sized for your best canine friends - of the larger variety. It comes in three sizes for large dogs; 18 to 22 inches. This warm and attractive sweater features contrast turtleneck and sleeve ribbing. The design if vintage early 1960s.

MATERIALS:   Bear Brand or Fleishers Gigantic, 4 (5-5) 2 oz skeins color A; 3 skeins color B;   4" plastic knitting needles Nos 11 and 15. (Or English sizes 1 and 000);   Plastic crochet hook size J or 9.

Directions: For small size (18" long below collar to back edge) Changes for medium (20 ½" long) and large (22" long) are in parentheses.
Girth: 19" (20 ½"-22")

GAUGE: 5 sts = 2" (ribbing slightly stretched, No. 15 needles).
