Easy Crocheted Eaton Vest or Top Pattern

Eton: This pattern creates the crochet eton, pictured above. And, what is an eton ... well, it's a jacket based on a vintage English style. This particular eton is just below waist length and has a 6 button closure and bateau neckline. It a quite nice vest with a more squared loo k - fashionably different. It is sized Small (size 8 / 10) and Medium (size 12 / 14). There are no provisions for large.

Materials required:   - American Thread Heavy Rug Yarn, - 6 (7) - 70 yd skeins Pink or color of our choice;   Wooden Crochet Hook Size 13,  6 buttons

Gauge: 3 sts (2 s d c and ch 1) = 1 inch
