Chenille Stole : This pattern contains directions to knit the stole pictured. The pattern, vintage 1952 from Dritz, called for a specific Chenille Yarn that is paired with a metallic. These yarns are no longer available, however, as there is no specific gauge stated, I'd suggest using a chenille and metallic of your choice. Although the size is not stated, this is apparently a large stole, or shawl, with long fringed ends. The addition of the metallic thread is going to give it a shimmery evening quality. This is a very easy pattern.
