Crocheted Afghan: This pattern contains directions for crocheting the afghan or throw shown. The afghan is worked in rows of solid crochet alternating with rows of a lovely daisy-like stitch. Various color schemes may be used, all giving a striped effect. Three shades of any color, blue, green violet and orange could also be used. For a roman strip effect, the background may be worked in grey, brown, beige, black or a neutral color, with the stripes in scraps of all colors. Directions are given for an afghan, carriage cover and pillow.
