Crocheted Soft Brimmed Cloche Pattern

Soft Brimmed Cloche :   This pattern gives directions for crocheting the hat pictured.  The official 1953 magazine description:  " Casual, packable, ripple brimmed hat crocheted in big loose stitches of three different yarns – black gimp for body, red wool for color, white Angora for delectable texture. One size fits all headsizes". 

Materials:   Tuxedo Frenh Angora, 2 10-gr. balls white;   Knitting Worsted, 2 oz;   Red. Gimp, 1 spool Black;   Susan Bates Luxite crochet hook No. 9.

Note: Hat is worked in 3 strands: 1 Angora, 1 knitting worsted and 1 gimp.
