Crocheted Pineapple Doilies Pattern, Laura Wheeler 713

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for making two crocheted doilies worked in the pineapple design. The two crocheted doilies can be combined to dress up a buffet or luncheon table; or they can be used as odd pieces. Either No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton can be used. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture of the doilies.  Crochet these doilies in small or large size.  The small doily measures 12-1/2 and the large doily is 18 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 713 in 1945.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:   No. 30 Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook or unbleached Cotton and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.
