Crochet Sailor Styled Hat Pattern

It's Nylon : This pattern contains directions for crocheting the hat pictured. It's a cute design, a bit sailor like and definitely jaunty. It's an easy pattern to crochet in a 3-ply nylon yarn. The pattern is vintage 1951 from American Thread.

Materials:  AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" Permanent "Crimp Set" Nylon Article N6, 4 Balls French Blue or any Color desired;  Plastic Crochet Hook No. 6 or H.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This hat is worked with 3 strands of yarn throughout and all rounds are worked doubly as follows: work a round as directed, then work same round over it.
