Crocheted Potholders: The apple and cherry potholders are made of three strands of Crochet and Knitting Cotton worked together: The designs are worked entirely in single crochet. Included in the pattern is a chart for each potholder, also directions describing how the charts are to be used. They can be made either of unbleached and a color; two contrasting colors or of two shades of the same color.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased tghrough newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7441 in 1942.
