Crochet Pineapple Ruffled Doily No 2852

Pineapple Ruffled Doily:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  This pretty design, crocheted in No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, features a central pineapple motif that resembles a sunflower, surround by wide ruffled border.   When completed the doily will measure 13 inches in diameter.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was first marketed as Peggy Roberts R2852 in 1949, and 1960 under the Anne Cabot brand.  This pattern was included in the 1956 Anne Cabot Needlework Album.  

Materials:  300 yds Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 30, White or Ecru;   Steel Crochet Hook, No. 10 (Standard Size).
