Description
Crocheted Doilies: These crocheted doilies can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. They can be used as buffet and luncheon sets or they can be used as odd doilies. The largest doily is 12 x 24 or 12 x 32 inches. The small doily is 9 x 13 or 12 x 17 inches.
This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs. The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6979 in 1941.
MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.
