Crochet Hat and Mittens Set Design 782

Crocheted Hat and Mitten Set : This pattern contains directions for crocheting the set shown. This cute set, sized for children, has a hat and mittens, both worked in two colors of Knitting Worsted. The hat features a pompom on top, contrast band and earflaps that end in ties that secure under the chin. (A great place to add in two smaller pompoms). The mittens have the matching contrast band and pompom ties. The pattern is sized Small (2-4 years), Medium (6-8 years) and Large (10-12 years).

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and magazines. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 782.  It was included in the Laura Wheeler 1953 Needlework Designs Catalog.
