Crochet Four Leaf Clover Scarfs Mats, Alice Brooks 7127

Jiffy Crochet Mats:  This pattern contains directions for making crocheted scarfs and mats made of either a double strand or a single strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. They can be used as luncheon or buffet sets or they can be used as odd pieces. The scarf can be made any desired length.  Large Scarf is 15 x 37 inches; Small Scarf 15 x 27 inches.  Mats are 15 x 17.  Scarfs can also be made at any length desired.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7127 in 1944.  The official newspaper write-up:  "This four leaf clover design spells luck for crocheters. In two strands of cotton, it's something you'll proudly show".
