- Buy, or make, plain linen handkerchiefs with the narrowest of hem-stitched (or plain) hems.
- Use Tatting Cotton, - about 100 yards for each hdkf. (#70 Mercerized Crochet Cotton is similar to Tatting Cotton, and may be used if preferred)
- #12 steel crochet-hook.
