Description

Handkerchief Edgings: If you have been looking for wide crocheted edgings, this pattern is for you. If you like narrower edgings, it is adaptable for that too, because you may finish with any round when the width and appearance of the work permits. The edgings are named Heats and Flowers Lace, Spiderweb Lace Edge and Filet Diamonds Lace.

MATERIAL:

  • Buy, or make, plain linen handkerchiefs with the narrowest of hem-stitched (or plain) hems.
  • Use Tatting Cotton, - about 100 yards for each hdkf. (#70 Mercerized Crochet Cotton is similar to Tatting Cotton, and may be used if preferred)
  • #12 steel crochet-hook.
