Description

Crocheted Doll:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the delightful Alice in Wonderland 10-inch doll pictured.  This is an easy pattern worked in Pearl Cotton and Knitting Worsted.  Her body is created, then dress and apron crocheted in place, The face is embroidery.   A detail sheet is included. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R-2599 in 1948.   

Materials: 2 balls of Blue, 1 ball each of White and Pink Pearl Cotton, and scraps of Yellow Knitting Worsted Yarn. Cotton. batting. Steel Crochet Hook No. 4.
