Crochet Dish Cloth Pattern, Anne Cabot 5214

Crochet Dish Cloth:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the dish cloth pictured.   This is a Very Easy pattern in two colors knitting crochet cotton.  Soft and frilly with a handle string for hanging.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5214 in 1942.  The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot's 1942 Needlework Album.  

MATERIALS:  1 ball knitting and crochet cotton, white;   1 ball knitting and crochet cotton, red;   #1 steel crochet hook  (This will make several cloths, reversing the trim)
