Crochet Butterfly Pincushion.   This pattern gives directions to crochet the butterfly pincushion pictured.   This piece, worked in Size 20 Crochet Cotton with Pearl Cotton accents, will make a welcome gift or addition to your sewing basket.  It holds a special pocket for storing your thimble too!  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R2609 in 1950. 

MATERIALS 1 large ball of Best Six-Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 20. 1 ball each of Pink, Blue and Yellow Pearl Cotton Scraps of wool fleece or of wool yarn in White or Pastels for stuffing the pin cushions. 1/2 yard of White Buckram for stiffening. Steel Crochet Hook #9.
