Description

Crocheted Chair Set:   This crocheted chair set is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The design may also be used as a buffet set or the butterfly may be used as ends for scarfs.  The chair back will measure 13-1/2 x 15-1/2 and the arm rests are 6 x 10 inches each.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 382 in 1942.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:   Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 9 steel crochet hook;  The butterfly requires approximately 225 yards of cotton; each arm rest requires approximately 95 yards of cotton.
