Description

Crocheted Hot Plate Mats:  This pattern contains directions for hot-plate mats or doilies made from crochet-covered bottle caps. Use scraps of many colors; join in different patterns. Two arrangements are given in this pattern; a sunflower and a heart design.  The heart mat measures 11 x 14 and the sunflower mat is 10 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7189 in 1954.
