It's so nice to retreat to the coziness of this crocheted Perfect summer pick-up work!  Crochet [afghan of squares that create a fascinating design when you join them. Use worsted in one color.

Description

Crocheted Afghan: This pattern contains directions for crocheting an Afghan of squares - made of 4-ply synthetic worsted-weight yarn. Squares are worked and then sewn together in rows; rows are then sewn together to form Afghan.  Each square measures 8 inches.   Join the squares to create a blanket / afghan measuring 58 x 74 inches (or size of your choice). 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 664 in 1980.
