Crochet Bedspread Square Pattern No 6327

Crocheted Medallion:  This crocheted square can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows, chair sets and many other useful household articles.   The square can be crocheted at 3 or 4-1/2 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6327 in 1939.   The newspaper description:  "It's all done with one easy square - a square that's just a bit different and fun to crochet! But the real excitement comes when you join them into this lovely spread, or a cloth or scarf, for then you can see the overall handsome design".
