Childs Hooded Jacket Knitting Pattern Design 5214

Houndstooth Jacket and Hood : This pattern gives instructions to knit, crochet detail, the jacket pictured. This sweet design, in a houndstooth pattern stitch, is sized for the younsters small (4-6), medium (8-10) and large (12-14). The design is long sleeved with the houndstooth design on front panels, ribbed bands and front zipper closure and plenty of beading.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5214 in 1966.  The pattern was included in the 1968 Anne Cabot Needlework Album,  as well as the Anne Cabot 1970 Needlework Album.

Materials:   BERNAT SHAKERSPUN (Bulky 100% Virgin Wool Yarn) (2 oz. Skeins): 7 (8, 9) Skeins Blue (MC). 2 (2, 3) Skeins Navy (CC).  Needles: Straight Knitting Needles #3 and #11.  Aluminum Crochet Hook #J. Zipper: Jacket Zipper 14 (16, 18) Inch Length.
