Knitted Jacket : This pattern contains directions for knitting the jacket shown. For those of you with intermediate to advanced skills, warm up those needles as this jacket design is sure to become a wardrobe favorite. The long sleeved knitted jacket, has a pleasing striped, or perhaps you would prefer checked, pattern stitch. It is loose fitting with the rounded front hemline and slightly dropped shoulders leading down to full long sleeves. There is wide ribbing that runs the edges of all openings. Instructions are written for size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.
- BERNAT Venetian (1 oz. pull skeins) — 11 (11-12-12) Main Color (M C); 6 (6-7-7) Contrasting Color (C C)
- 1 pair straight knitting needles No. 8 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL GIVE THE STITCH GAUGE
