Instead of 'children', I could have called this section Girls.  The mail-order companies marketed many patterns for young girls - toddlers to early teens, and just a sparse number for boys.    Dresses and vests, by far, were the favorite Designs, but you'll also find a bit of everything else a 'girl' would want as well.
