Bat Wing Knitted Jacket Pattern with Embroidery

Embroidered Wing-Sleeve Casual: This pattern contains directions to knit, embroidery detail, the jacket pictured. Wear this piece as a jacket, or perhaps a blouse. It features the fun bat-win styled elbow length sleeves, ribbed neckband, cuffs and bottom openings, and 8 button front closure. Then, for extra spark, add in rows of (optional) embroidery. Not, a chart is not attached, however, there is an enlarge picture which shows the embroidery detail for duplication (shown in pictures). The pattern, vintage 1954, is misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses. The official write-up: "The Embroidered Wing-Sleeve Casual is just one version of our harmonized separates. Choose a pastel color for the background and highlight it with slashes and dashes of bright embroidery."

• Chadwick's Red Heart Sock & Sweater Yarn, 3 ply. Art. E. 255 (1-oz. Tangle-Proof pull-out skein) : 7 (7, 8, 8) sks. of Surf Green (A) and 1 sk. of Black (B).
• No. 2 knitting needles.
• 8 buttons.
