Carriage Trade : This pattern contains directions to crochet the blanket shown. The design, vintage 1943 from Chadwicks, is billed as a carriage cover. The official description - "Lap of Luxury crocheted carriage cover, handsomely cross-stitched with baby's very own, brand-new initial". The blanket, in three colors, measuring approximately 27 x 32 inches is made in strips with raised leaf motifs dispersed in rows and scalloped edge. The center panel is for the baby initial.
