Pineapple Medallion Crochet Pattern Design 683

Crocheted Medallion: This pattern gives directions to crochet the medallion shown. This pineapple medallion can be made either of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, chair sets and pillows. The chain loop border is worked around joined medallions to complete each article. Depending upon materials used, the medallion may measure 6 or 9 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 683.  The official newspaper description: "The gossamer beauty of the pineapple medallions is equaled only by the ease and speed with which you crochet them. It takes only nine to make a chair set. But, put as many together as fancy dictates.
