Crocheted Pineapple Medallion Cloth Pattern, Design 1128

Crocheted Pineapple Medallions:  Beautiful medallions crocheted in the pineapple pattern are joined with small medallions to make this handsome tablecloth. White or ecru mercerized crochet cotton is used.  Each medallion is 5 inches.   

This is a Mail Order Designs Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Design No 1128 under both the Needlework Bureau and Martha Madison names in 1945.  The pattern was included in the 1948 Needlework Book.

Materials:   56 (575-yard) balls No. 20 crochet cotton for cloth measuring approximately 70" x 90";   Steel crochet hook No. 10 American gauge or No. 4 Canadian gauge.
