Knitted Slipper Socks Pattern, Rag Soles, Design 7391

$3.00

Knitted Slipper Socks:  This pattern contains directions for making a knitted slipper sock. The sock, done in Knitting Worsted, is knitted around and around in a very simple pattern stitch with no shaping for heel. Crocheted soles, made of rags, complete the slippers. The sock can be adjusted to fit any size sole. Directions are given for soles in three sizes - large, medium and small size.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7391.  "Newest, brightest look for legs - knit cozy slipper socks with soles crocheted of rags.  Two color slipper socks - teens, college girls, skiers love 'em.  Knit spirally on four needles, no heel shaping".
