Description

Tweed Cardigan Suit : This pattern has directions to knit the outfit pictured. This heather tweed design is a suit, or two piece dress if you prefer. First you have a cardigan with three quarter sleeves round neckline, front button band and lower patch pockets. The skirt is straight, easy pull-up with an elastic waist. The pattern is sized 10 to 18. Directions are for size 10. Changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 are in parentheses.

Materials:  SPINNERIN Marvel Twist (4 oz. skein): 14 (14·16·16·18) skeins;   1 yd. of 1" elastic;   5 buttons.   Knitting Needles:1 pair each No.7 and No. 11.  Gauge: Stockinette stitch single strand of yarn on No. 7 needles-5 sts = 1"; 6 rows = 1” Pattern St with double strands of yarn on No 11 needles-7 sts = 2"; 6 rows = 1".
