Striped Cardigan Knitting Pattern Design 5147

All Stripe Cardigan in Knit : This pattern gives direction for knitting the cardigan shown. This is an attractive design, knit with included charts in an all-over striped pattern motif featuring little diamond among the stripes. The hip length cardigan has wide bands at the bottom and long sleeve cuffs and a smaller band at the neck. There is a 9 button band. The pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16, and 18 in parentheses.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers. This pattern was released as Anne Cabot as well as  Kate Marchbanks 5147.   

Materials:   COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 12 (14, 16, 13) ounces of Navy; 8 ounces of White and 4 ounces of Melon for All Sizes;   NEEDLES:Knitting Needles -- 1 pair No. 4 and No. 5;   9 Buttons (3/4-inch in diameter).
