Crocheted TV Cover : This pattern contains directions for a large crocheted square in the pineapple design. One square forms a TV cover or squares may be joined to form scarfs, cloths, bedspreads and other articles. The individual squares are 21 or 34 inches. This lovely cloth starts with rounds of pineapples, surrounded by ample amounts of mesh and then large corner borders of pineapples that narrow and combine between the corners. See charts of number of squares required to different pieces of fiber art.
This is a Mail Order Design Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern is in the Alice Brooks number series and, based on the paper and print, I'd estimate as mid 1960s.
