Description

Crocheted Square : This pattern contains directions for a crocheted square made of either No 30 Cotton or String. It is worked in a star design with spider-web corners. Squares are joined to form scarfs, cloths, spreads, pillows and other articles. Depending upon materials used, the star is either 7 or 10 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7239 in 1949.
