Sleeveless Cable Cardigan Knitting Pattern with Gloves

Knitted Cardigan and Gloves: This pattern contains directions for knitting, crochet detail, the set pictured. The set starts with a grand sleeveless cardigan, semi-fitted with slightly extended shoulders and waist length. The front button band is bordered with vertical rows of cables and ribbed bands. The matching dress-up short gloves have the matching cable motif.   The cardigan is sized 12, 14 and 16.  The gloves are small, medium and large.   

Materials:   Coats and Clark's O.N.T. "Speed-Cro-Sheen" Mercerized Cotton Art C. 44, 6 (6-7) balls No. 61-D Nu-Ecru for cardigan; 2 balls for gloves;   Clark's O.N.T plastic knitting needles Nos. 2 and 4 for cardigan;   one set dp needles No. 1 for gloves. (Or, English sizes, 11, 9 and 12.);   Milwards steel crochet hook No. 3;   One yd. 1" grosgrain ribbon;   Six buttons.   (Gauge: 6 sts-1"; 8 rows-1" (cable pat, cardigan). 7 sts-1"; 9 rnds-1" (cable pat, gloves).
