Short Crochet Capelet Pattern

Little Throw: This pattern contains instructions to crochet the capelet pictured. What a cute little throw it is --  A shoulder cape when the weather is only slightly chilly, or when it would, well ... just be the perfect fashion touch.  It is collared with a partially trimmed border of novelty braid.   This pattern is part of a book review - American Thread Star Book 125.

Materials Required:   AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED or "DAWN" NYLON OF KNITTING WORSTED SIZE 11 ozs. White;   Plastic crochet hook size 1;   2 yds. of novelty braid;   hook and eye

GAUGE BEFORE BLOCKING: 7 s d c = 2 inches : 2 s d c rows = 1 inch.
