Pinwheel Crochet Doilies, Mail Order 3135

Design 677 - Crocheted Doilies : This pattern contains instructions to create two crocheted doilies worked in the pinwheel design. They can either be made of No 50 or No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. They can be used as luncheon or buffet sets, or as odd pieces. The large doilies, depending upon thread size measures, 18, 21 or 27 inches. The small doilies, are 9, 12 and 18 inches. See above chart for materials requirements and sizes.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly No 3135 in 1947.  The pattern was also marketed under the Alice Brooks and the Laura Wheeler brands.
