Crocheted Doilies:  These crocheted doilies, worked in pineapple design, can be made either of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size. and texture of the doilies.  Large sizes of this design are 19 or 30 inches; the small doilies are 13 or 17 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as American Weekly 3019 in 1946.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:   No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls and a No. 10 steel crochet hook;   or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook;   The large doily requires approximately 750 yards of heavy cotton or 570 yards of fine cotton.   The small doily requires approximately 300 yards of heavy cotton or 225 yards of fine cotton.
