Pineapple Border Crochet Doily Pattern Design 3094

Crochet Doilies: These crocheted doilies, made in the pineapple design, can be made either of No. 50 or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. They make very attractive luncheon or buffet sets or they can be used as odd doilies. The large doilies are sized 17 and 14 inches and the small doilies are 10 or 18 inches.

This is a Mail Order Pattern. purchased through newspaper advertisements  The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3094 in 1947. 

Materials:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook;   or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook;   or Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.   The large doily requires approximately 300 yards of No. 50 cotton or 380 yards of No. 30 cotton or 450 yards of heavy cotton.   The small doily requires approximately 175 yards of No. 50 cotton or 200 yards of No. 30 cotton or 270 yards of heavy cotton.
