Oval Pineapple Doily Scarf Design 7499

Crocheted Scarfs / Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for two matching scarfs done in a combination of the lacy pineapple design and shell stitches. They are in convenient sizes for TV sets, buffet sets or centerpieces. Use either fine or heavy cotton.   Crochet this design is two sizes - large and small.   The large scarfs are 16 x 33 or 23 x 42; the doilies are 10 x 24 or 15 x 32. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7499 in 1977.   It was also marketed under the Laura Wheeler brand.
