Oval Pineapple Crochet Doily with Scalloped Edge, Mail Order Design 7218

Crocheted Doilies: This pattern contains directions for two matching crocheted doilies; an oval and a round doily worked in the pineapple design. Combine them to form luncheon or buffet sets. Make doilies in either fine or heavy cotton. The round doily may be worked at 11, 13 or 18 inches and the oval at 13 x 19, 15 x 21 or 20 x 28 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7218 in 1951.  It was also included in the Alice Brooks 1952 Designs Catalog.
