Mother Daughter Sweater Set Knitting Pattern

Style No 833 & 5991: This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the cardigan sweaters shown. I don't know what to call this raised pattern stitch, other than, quite attractive. The long sleeve cardigans have a high round neckline, hip length, and front buttoned band. The design is misses size small (10-12) with changes for large (18-20). The girls sizes are small (2-4), medium (6-8) and large (10-12). There are separate patterns for misses and childs. This pattern is vintage 1950s from Bernat.

• BERNAT Morshire (2 oz. Skeins) — 7(9) OR BERNAT Nylo Germantown (2 oz. Skeins) — 7(9) OR BERNAT Nylo Knitting Worsted (4 oz. skeins) — 4(5)
• 1 pair each straight knitting needles Nos. 5 and 8.
• 1 steel crochet hook No. 0
• 2 yds 1 1/2-inch grosgrain ribbon
• 7 buttons

GAUGE: 5 sts = 1 inch7 rows = 1 inch
