Description

B496 - This pattern contains instructions to knit the gloves shown above. Actually, the pattern includes both the half as well as continued patterns to make the whole mittens. The pattern is sized for mens hands 7, 8 ad 9. The pattern, vintage 1960s from Coats and Clarks, makes this an early version of the fingerless gloves .... mitten style. 

Materials:  COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ('Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins), No. 328 Beige: For Half Mittens, 3 ounces for all Sizes; for Whole Mittens, 3 ounces for Size 7, 4 ounces each for Sizes 8 and 9;  Double-pointed needles, 1 set No.3 and No.5. 

GAUGE: 11 sts = 2 inches; 8 rnds = 1 inch.- Measurement Around Palm: 7 (8, 9) inches.
