Mans Checked Pullover Knitting Pattern

Mans Checked Sweater : This easy pattern contains directions for knitting the sweater pictured. This design, vintage 1948 from beehive, is for a mans pullover sweater knit in a checked pattern stitch on front and back. The long sleeves and ribbed banding are in solid contrast color. The v-neck design is hip length. This pattern is written for mans size 38, with changes for 40, 42 and 44 in parentheses.

MATERIALS :  Beehive Scotch Fingering Yarn, 3 Ply (1-oz. skeins). Beige (MC) 5 (5, 6, 6) skeins, Chocolate (CC) 3 (3, 3, 3) skeins;   Needles: 1 pr each No. 2 and No. 3. 1 set No. 2 double point needles.
