Description

Baby Jacket : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the jacket pictured. This sweet little jacket for baby is knit in lacy ridges with a squared necking, three quarter sleeves and ribbon bands and ties. This vintage 1940s jacket pattern is sized for infants.

Materials:

  • CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY BUNTING, 4 balls (3/4 oz. balls).
  • CLARK'S O.N.T. "BRILLIANT," 1 ball.
  • Clark's O.N.T. Knitting Pins, 1 pair No.2.
  • Steel Crochet Hook No.8.
  • 2 yards ribbon, 1/2 inch wide.

GAUGE: (PATTERN STITCH) 9 ½ sts make 1 inch; 10 rows make 1 inch. (GARTER STITCH) 7 sts make 1 inch; 7 ridges (14 rows) make 1 inch.
