Description
Silk Dress : This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the dress shown. Called a silk dress for the initial vintage yarn called for, but will be an equally attractive design in whatever yarn will meet the pattern gauge. The sleeveless dress has a rounded neck with bodice that buttons off-center to the left. Tie belt finished the look for a casual summer design, or pair with long sleeve blouse for winter wear.
SIZES: Directions for size 12. Changes for sizes 14 and 16 are in parentheses. Fits Bust Size: 32" (34"-36").
MATERIALS:
- Unger Roman Beauty, 14 (16-18) 1-oz. skeins.
- 14" knitting needles No. 3. (Or English size 10.)
- Steel crochet hook No. 1. Matching sewing thread for seams.
- Five 3/4" plastic rings for button molds; 5 small buttons for button centers.
- Grosgrain ribbon: 1/2 yard 4" wide, 1/2 yard 1 ½" wide and one yard wide.
- Small piece nylon net. Two snap fasteners.
