Knitted Coat Dress Pattern

Knitted Coat Dress:   This pattern gives directions to knit the dress pictured.  An 'easier' pattern, the dress if long sleeved, lightly yoked with front button panel.  This is a loose fitting and comfortable design.   The pattern is written for size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 in parentheses.  

Materials;  Unger Les Bouquets 17 (19-20) 50gm balls;   Knitting Needles Nos. 3, 5, 7;    18 buttons [15 (17-18) for dress,  3 yds 1" grosgrain ribbon;  ( Gauge: No. 7 needles: 9 sts = 2"; 6 rows = 1")
