Knitted Yoked Pullover Pattern

Smoky-Blue Slipon :   This pattern gives directions to knit the pullover pictured.  This long sleeves pullover with ribbed neck collar has contrast bands.  The pattern is written for misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses.   The official 1953 magazine description:  "The smoky-blue slipon spiked at wrists and neck with bright red bands"    

Materials: 

• Fleisher's Superior Knitting Worsted or Bear Brand Standard Knitting Worsted, 6 (7-7) 4-oz. skeins Navy, main color (MC) ; 1 oz. Red, contrasting color (CC).  
• Bucilla plastic knitting needles Nos. 5 and 10. (Or English sizes, 8 and 3.)  
• Three st holders.
