Description

Florentine Shell : This vintage pattern contains instructions to knit the stylish shell pictured above. It is a leaf patterned blouse, with rounded neckline and slightly extended shoulder and just above hip length. For some extra sparkle, add a little to each leaf ! The pattern is sized 12 to 18. The instructions are written for size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses. A four page handout of knitting tips is included with this pattern.

Materials:

  • - Bucilla Paradise, 9 (10) 1-oz skeins
  • - Knitting needles No 5 (Or English size 8)
  • - Two stitch holders

Gauge: 6 sts = 1 inch (stockinette st); 1 leaf pat = 1 1/4 inch; 9 rows = 1 inch
